The 3rd personification … I hope that’s a word, well it is now. The 3rd personification of a 1st person story is done.  New chapters will begin again soon.

News 05/06/05:

The story is currently being updated to become a 3rd person story. This is taking a lot of work and reverbing… and inventing words just like I did now.

12/05/04

We are revamping the site. As you can see, the index.html or the front page has changed twice in the last couple of weeks. We are holding on updating the story for a bit so we can change over to third person. Yes that’s right. We are currently taking about 300 pages written in the first person and changing it over. 1st person suited us when the story was small and had a personal appeal to one main character, but as Nameless notes that he is not a band of one anymore. So in order to help make the story more fluent we are changing it over. So if you hurry you can still read it as it was originally written, but in a couple of months we will have the changes made. Thanks for your patience. Until later.

Its once again been a while since I wrote here but I’m getting better. We’ve updated with about 3 or 4 chapters since May. I even developed and introduced a new character that will be a Necromancer. Basically if you don’t know what a Necromancer is, it’s a mage who specializes in spells involving the dead. The problem was coming up with a name for him. Sometimes I go to baby names books and websites but there just aren’t that many baby names that mean “Death.”

However he is a very earthy kind of guy so I ended up going with a name that means “Heartbeat of the Earth.”

This weekend I plan on visiting Ted to co-write “The Reunion” one of the few places in the story with an unofficial title. I think you’ll be able to tell which part coming up is entitled this.

OK, now this update took way longer than I thought, but we got a lot done since January 2004. We switched servers edited 239 real pages to make the story read better correct some really weird typos and then make sure we didn’t confuse its for it’s and vice versa which took me a good 2 hours alone. The pages are updated with the new editing and some of our regulars … all two of you will notice we now offer the story as a pdf download.

We even rearanged, rewrote the last part so far and added a prelude.

Holy crap it’s been a while since the last update … Anyway we updated the story until around september or so of this year and then life got busy yada yada yada and you know how it goes. Due to some space restrictions we cut the mp3 section with our voice acting and we had to take down the really big picture of Chester. However starting with Chapter 1 I have begun rediting again and adding in the weird little spacers ” § ” that you see in the second half of the story that tell when the scene changes and corrected some of our spelling/grammar. On the news of more story now that it is the new year and the holidays are almost over and we have more space to post now you will begin seeing updates once again.

As you know by now, I’m not one for keeping a log. The story gets updated about bi-weekly and I don’t update till 3 months go by and I go gee what was the last update and my oh my it doesn’t look like we’ve done anything. Well if you’re here Then welcome but chances are the updates won’t get updated a whole lot. Today I’m trying out music match as I update the design of our first page. The cataloging feature is really cool as well as updating the track info. But I’m a winamp guy myself. Then in linux I prefer the kmedia player. Just depends which OS I’m in. On the mac i like itunes but I don’t own one … yet. Got to save my money. If I do get the mac then I will probably use it and linux and windows will go away. I simply won’t need it anymore.

Its not been long since the last update, its just that I keep forgetting this page exists so I never update it. Truth is we update at least twice a month at least on something (Story, art, spelling corrections, ,mp3 (no music yet, mostly voice characterization), etc) but not the update page….. Eh .. oh well, what are we to do? Any who, we updated, and not just this page. It has been very busy so the last couple months I probably got out less updates than we could have. I recently moved. I bought my first house. Nameless is looking to move, so chances are if you see someone wandering around that abandoned house across the street, that’s him.
We believe we have enough finished product to actually try to gather a small following of some sort. Upcoming updates might include a guestbook. You too can now advertise your site with us… yes this is a ploy in a way because in turn we will visit you and advertise on your guestbook. The other plan is to hit up some really nice third party fantasy sites to see if they will also advertise/link us in exchange for us advertising/linking to them. The search for readers begins.
We’re looking in the vicinity for at least a couple of readers (at least someone who will email us and let us know they’ve been here) and work our way up from there. So if you come across this and say, “Gee, I need reader/webviewers on my site too…” send us an email at trinexdey@lycos.com and we’ll come visit your site (giving you a 2+ reader/viewer you never had before) and then we’ll send you an email and exchange banners/links. We’ll be our own fans but if this starts to grow we’ll really have something going, like a club or something. As nice as this all seems we would like to keep it fairly clean; pg 13 or less. This will keep us “parent/child friendly” as we hope to one day have our figures appear in a Happy Meal.

Now granted I’ve made some jokes along the way but the offer is serious. So if you want to advertise and help us do the same lets team up, especially since its getting harder and harder to post pages on search engines for free. (i’ve posted with over 25, but we were only listed in Altavista and that now seems to have disappeared.)

This update should last me a couple of months …

Back in the Habit. Got a good start on Chapter 19. Posted the 4th book for picking a chapter. Posted 4 pictures. Error has a biography now in the “About the Authors” section. Currently both Nameless and Error need a nap from all the coding, drawing, and writing. And will be back in full swing after a good nights rest at Ceke House.

It’s been a while since our last email, but we’ve been working hard finishing touches on Chapter 10&11, and writing Chap 12 & 13.
They’ve been up for a little while as we wrote on it but we finally stopped adding new sections in between other sections and have the story at a readable state.
So now you can finally read on and find out if Calibur’s predictions are true or not. Don’t know who Calibur is? Then you should read Chaps 10&11 first then.
Plenty of new stuff has been happening and the plot or plots thicken in the latest chapters.

Yes that’s right I have spell checked and grammatically corrected chaps 2 and 3 as best as possible for now and I will fix up more in the near future so stay tuned.

A future outlook:
Sometimes we get caught up in writing the new stuff the editing gets put off well no more. In and about some traveling this weekend I will be editing Chap 2-8 to take care of grammar, spelling, and hopefully any discrepencies in the story. In either case an email will be sent announcing the small victory.

Chapter 6 is finished – will be edited for grammer later.
Chapter 7 is started. – its actually a bonus because the part isn’t finished yet and will be fully posted this weekend before the other author takes over.
Chapter 1 got a slight overhaul. – For those of you that noticed Nameless was referred to in 3rd person instead of 1st for part of the story. This should be corrected now. Also in Chapter 1. Error’s history has a little more depth so it wouldn’t hurt reading it again.
