The End is Coming … sort of

Changing the layout of the site a bit, in order to get ready for the end of the first book. I never thought we’d go beyond 300 pages but now that we have, we thought we should reach some sort of ending.
My suggestion was “And they all died.”
Nameless said “No, we can’t end it like that.”
And so I said “ok.”
So we decided to do something like Lord of the Rings and just cut it off. But then there’s our rule about knowingly ripping off someone else’s technique. So we threw that away too.
So then we did this outline that’s been staring us in the face for 6 months or so. Even if we follow the outline we still don’t have a real ending. So hmm… maybe we’ll just write like we always do and see what happens.
